HOW OUR GUIDES ARE MADE
Editorial policy
Hair-loss treatment and early access to super can affect health and long-term finances. Our publishing process is designed to make uncertainty, limitations and sources visible.
Our role and boundaries
Hair Loss Access is an independent marketing and referral service. Our guides provide general information only. We do not provide medical, financial, tax or superannuation advice; assess eligibility; prepare or submit applications; or represent the ATO, a government agency, a super fund or a clinic.
The ATO decides compassionate-release applications. Approval is not guaranteed. A reader should consider qualified medical and financial advice for their own circumstances.
How we choose and check sources
We use the strongest available source for each material claim, in this order:
- Current Australian government and regulator material, including the ATO, TGA, ASIC, ACCC and AHPRA.
- Australian public-health sources and clinical guidance from recognised professional bodies.
- Peer-reviewed research when a primary official source does not answer the question.
- Commercial sources only for clearly labelled examples that can be independently checked.
Every guide lists its sources and the date they were checked. Search-result snippets, unattributed summaries and another provider's marketing claims are not treated as evidence.
Review gates
Low-risk guides that do not contain medical, treatment, eligibility, tax, price, financial-consequence or personal-advice claims may be published after automated source, duplication, claim, prohibited-language, metadata, link, schema and build checks pass under our approved template.
Funding, eligibility, tax, superannuation and application-process claims stay unpublished until a suitably qualified Australian professional reviews them. Treatment, diagnosis, outcome, procedure, risk and recovery claims stay unpublished until an appropriately qualified clinician reviews them and an advertising check is complete.
Where a person reviews a guide, we show the real author and reviewer, their role, the review date and the most recent substantive update. Low-risk automatically validated guides show their validation method instead. We do not create fictional experts or credentials.
Automation and editorial responsibility
Software may help discover questions, compare existing pages, assemble source briefs, prepare drafts and validate low-risk guides. It cannot approve regulated, financial or clinical claims. We would rather leave a publishing slot empty than release a repetitive, weakly sourced or unsafe page.
Commercial disclosure and calls to action
We may receive a referral fee if a person consents to a referral. This does not change the ATO's criteria or decision. Calls to action must describe a preliminary, no-obligation enquiry and must not imply eligibility, urgency or guaranteed approval.
Corrections and updates
We monitor the principal official sources used by our guides. A material rule change pauses affected publishing until the content is checked again. Substantive corrections update the page date and are recorded by the editorial team.
To flag a possible error, use the enquiry form and begin the message with “Editorial correction”. Do not include medical records, identity documents, financial account details or myGov credentials.
